Pollucite is (Cs,Na)(AlSi2)O6H2O and forms transparent colourless cubes,dodecahedra or trapezohedra of the cubic system, commonly striate and it may also occur as fine-grained masses. The hardness is 6.5–7 and the SG 2.85–2.94. Orange to pink fluorescence may be seen under UV and X-rays.The RI is 1.518–1.525.
