Manganotychite is Na6Mn2
2(SO4)(CO3)4 and occurs in pink or white semitransparent massive aggregates or as irregular grains of the cubic system with hardness 4 and SG 2.75–2.79. Manganotychite is weakly magnetic and slightly water soluble. The RI is 1.544–1.552. A sharp absorption line can be seen at 414 nm. Manganotychite is found at Mt Saint Hilaire, Quebec, Canada.
